"Actually worth it, for once"
I’m usually the one who ends up paying for stuff that doesn’t deliver, so I was expecting to be disappointed again. But my son got matched with a tutor quickly, and they actually helped him with algebra instead of dragging things out or wasting our time. The price felt fair for what we got, which is rare these days. I’d probably use it again.

kinda surprised... my son actually stays engaged the whole session, which almost never happens with online stuff. The tutor keeps it moving and he doesn’t zone out. Really happy with it so far

"Super easy to follow"
The instructions were really clear and straightforward. I didn’t have to guess or reread things a bunch of times, I knew what to do right away. Definitely made the whole process easier.

"Easy to fit into a busy week"
I really like how easy it is to move sessions around when my schedule gets all over the place. Like if work runs late, or I have an appointment, or my kid has something after school, or I just realize I picked a bad time, I can usually find another slot without too much stress. The tutors normally have a few different time options, like evenings, weekends, or another day during the week, which makes it way easier to make it work. I’ve only had one issue with a reschedule so far, but overall it’s been flexible and convenient.

"Tutor was genuinely worth it"
The tutor really knew his stuff and explained the math in a way my kid actually understood quickly. No stress, no talking down, just clear help. To be fair, that’s exactly what you hope you’re paying for when you get a tutor.

The tutor was actually good and did help, so I’ll give credit there. But the constant sales calls got really annoying. It felt like every time I was trying to focus on the tutoring, someone was pushing me to buy more or sign up for something else. I just wanted help, not to be chased by sales...

"Helpful materials, honestly made studying easier"
The practice questions and notes on Varsity Tutors were actually really helpful. They were easy to follow and not overly confusing, which I appreciated. I liked having different examples to work through too. if studying still felt hard sometimes, that was probably more on me than the materials.

"Okay, I’m not saying this changed our entire..."
Okay, I’m not saying this changed our entire lives, but it kind of feels like it did. My daughter was really behind in math and I was starting to panic a little, but after just a few sessions she’s way more confident and her quiz grades have actually gone up. I almost did a victory lap around the kitchen when she showed me. The only downside is that scheduling can be a bit tricky sometimes, but overall it’s been so worth it.

"Having the same tutor each week has helped"
We’ve been working with the same tutor for a while now, that’s probably been the best thing about it. There’s no switching around or having to explain this and that all over again every time, which makes things feel a lot smoother.
My kid knows what to expect now and seems more comfortable going into the sessions. They’ve also been starting on time, which is one of those small things I really appreciate. Overall, it’s been a good experience so far.

I had a good experience with Varsity Tutors, especially with how flexible the tutoring plan was. I wasn’t totally sure how many sessions my son would need at first, so I appreciated not feeling stuck in a long-term commitment. When our schedule got busier, we were able to make changes without it becoming a big ordeal. It wasn’t some overly complicated process, which I really liked. Overall, it felt simple, fair, and easy to manage.

"At Least the Refund Was Sorted Quickly"
I was expecting to be stuck chasing this forever, because that’s usually how it goes for me with these things. But to my surprise, the refund got handled quickly in the end. It was a relief not to have to fight too hard for once.

We’ve been using Varsity Tutors for a few weeks now, it’s been such a relief. Our tutor has been right on time for every session, which I really appreciate with our busy schedule. There’s been no waiting around or last-minute scrambling, and that makes the whole experience feel so much easier and calmer. We’re really happy with it so far!

"Pretty easy to find a tutor"
I usually had plenty of times to choose from, which was nice! The only downside was that weekend slots seemed to get booked up quickly, so I had to plan ahead a bit.
